Refunds and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges

We know that buying online is hard, and are happy to accept returns or exchanges where an item is simply not as expected. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Please send an email to biddyandbear@gmail.com prior to returning your item.

As a small business, we cannot offer free returns, so please purchase a tracked service via your usual shipping service to return items to us. We cannot process a return until we have the items back in our possession for inspection.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging

.To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Please note that custom orders, where an item has been made to your requirements (such as with a smaller waist or extra length), and gift cards are non-returnable.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed by us within 7 days of receiving the return, via the original method of payment. Please note it may take longer than this for the refund to reach you, due to bank processing times.

Exchanges (if applicable) 

You are welcome to return your item for another size or style if it is in as new and resaleable condition. Please contact us via email at biddyandbear@gmail.com within 30 days of receipt.

Defective goods

We are very sorry if an item has reached you in less than perfect condition or if it has developed a fault. Please contact us at biddyandbear@gmail.com to discuss your defect as soon as possible.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. Equally, you may choose an exchange.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we can arrange for a refund or exchange with the original purchaser. Please ask them to contact us.

Shipping 
To return your product, you should first email biddyandbear@gmail.com and then post your product to:

Biddy and Bear, 28 Lee Lane East, Leeds, LS18 5RE, United Kingdom 

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping  the item to you will be deducted from your refund. A partial refund may be applied for items returned that were purchased as part of a multiple item order.

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for your returning items (s). We can only action refunds and exchanges once are received by us and cannot be held responsible for items that go missing in the post when being returned.
